General FAQs

How long has your company been offering transferring, editing and Video Scrapbooks?
Our company has been involved in the audio and visual industry since 1937. We are very excited to be adding these new services to our catalog in 2010.
What are your accepted forms of payment and what are the payment terms?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Payment, including any rush or cancellation fees, is due upon completion of a project before any materials are returned.
What are your hours of operation and who do I contact?
We are open Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
You may call us at (402) 341-8476 or email us at info@spotlightpresentations.com.
How long does an average transfer take?
Although actual turnaround times depend on the size/complexity of a project, all work is performed in-house with a typical turn-around time of 2-10 business days.
How long does an average Video Scrapbook creation take?
Anywhere between 3 and 4 weeks depending on complexity and how many orders are in front of your project.
Do you offer rush services?
Yes! The rush fee is 20% of the project. We do this in order to pay an employee to work overtime and to move a customer ahead in the queue to be processed. We will have to schedule a technician to work on your rush order, so please call or email ahead to see if we can accommodate your timeline.
Will my DVD player play the DVD discs that you create?
Our discs are DVD+R which are compatible with most DVD players and DVD computer drives and meet universal standards for compatibility. If you have further concern, please contact a representative.
Why not digitize my media at home?
Digitizing media at home is very time consuming, tedious and more often than not will end up producing a result that is of significantly lower quality. Spotlight Presentations utilizes professional grade equipment and techniques that allow us to provide excellent results at affordable prices.
What can you transfer?
We can transfer virtually every type of still image (photos, negatives, slides), every type of video (every consumer type and most professional formats), 8mm, 16mm and silent or sound films. We also transfer audio cassettes, reel-to-reel audio tapes, and vinyl records. Restoration services are available for most media formats.
